Since 1989 we have been welcoming you in the Lot-et-Garonne. We are now, with great pleasure, receiving guests at our new house « Les Baudry », a residence dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, situated in the Dordogne in the heart of Périgord pourpre.
Between Bordeaux and Bergerac, the Logis des Baudry has a privileged situation on the “route des vins”, nearby the medieval cities of Saint Emilion and Sarlat, the Dordogne valley “aux mille châteaux” and the prehistoric cave of Lascaux.
The 25 hectares of undulating meadows, woods and vineyards that surround the four solid wings of this distinguished château offer a natural idyllic setting for stays full of charm and tranquillity. The many country roads and trails that criss-cross the estate, reserve the most beautiful walks.
Discover the drawing rooms, libraries and shaded terraces of Logis des Baudry for a relaxing time. In the evenings, dinners are served according to the season, in the panelled dining room in front of the fireplace or under the palm trees on the terrace beside the pond. The fresh produce from the vegetable garden and surrounding markets are the basis of Hélène’s cooking. Savour the fine gastronomic specialities of our region: foie gras mi-cuit au Saussignac, cassoulet aux fèves, civet de canette au vin de Pécharmant, magret mariné à l’Armagnac sauce miel et échalottes…and many more enchanting dishes.
You will be received by the hosts with a warm welcome and will be invited to spend a relaxing and discoverable stay in Périgord, country of châteaux, pre-history, gastronomy and wine.

Logis des Baudry puts at your disposal five large bedrooms with fireplace, paved with terracotta tiles softened by Persian rugs. All the bedrooms possess two independent entrances opening onto the garden and terraced sides, a bed measuring 1.80cm or two beds measuring 90cm, a ceiling fan, safe, bathroom and separate toilets. Antique furniture, pictures and engravings give each room it’s own character. The views are over the fields, parks, vineyards and woods.
Free Wi-Fi access.
Television is not available: tranquility and restfulness are put first.

This walled garden, in the heart of the house invites you to enjoy a moment of peace and serenity.
In the summer months, rocked by the trickling of the water in the pond, you can take the time to appreciate your breakfast: juice and a basket of fresh fruit, jams and homemade croissants, cheese and ham from local producers. In the evening, a five course dinner is served at individual tables by candle light and lanterns. You will savour Hélène's fresh produce based cooking. François selects from the producers' wine list of the region and will assist with your choice.
"Steeped in 500 years of history, the four solid wings of this distinguished château enclose a grand central courtyard where a water feature shimmers with tiny fish.".
"She (Helene) enjoys being closer to her guests and having more time for them, and she finds that the lovely patio garden and its trickling, lilting pond, the heart of the house, brings them quietly together." .
