Between Bordeaux and Bergerac, the Logis des Baudry has a privileged situation on the “route des vins”, nearby the medieval cities of Saint Emilion and Sarlat, the Dordogne valley “aux mille châteaux” and the prehistoric cave of Lascaux.
The 25 hectares of undulating meadows, woods and vineyards that surround the four solid wings of this distinguished château offer a natural idyllic setting for stays full of charm and tranquillity. The many country roads and trails that criss-cross the estate, reserve the most beautiful walks.
Discover the drawing rooms, libraries and shaded terraces of Château des Baudry for a relaxing time. In the evenings, dinners are served according to the season, in the panelled dining room in front of the fireplace or under the palm trees on the terrace beside the pond. The fresh produce from the vegetable garden and surrounding markets are the basis of Hélène’s cooking. Savour the fine gastronomic specialities of our region: foie gras mi-cuit au Saussignac, cassoulet aux fèves, civet de canette au vin de Pécharmant, magret mariné à l’Armagnac sauce miel et échalottes…and many more enchanting dishes.
Le Logis des Baudry puts at your disposal five vast suites (some with fireplaces) paved with terracotta tiles softened by Persian rugs. All the bedrooms posses two entrances opening onto the garden and terraced sides, guaranteeing privacy for each room. Antique furniture, pictures and etchings give each room it’s own character. They have views over the fields, parks, vineyards and woods.

"Steeped in 500 years of history, the four solid wings of this distinguished château enclose a grand central courtyard where a water feature shimmers with tiny fish.".
"She (Helene) enjoys being closer to her guests and having more time for them, and she finds that the lovely patio garden and its trickling, lilting pond, the heart of the house, brings them quietly together." .
