This tour is available all year round. Reservation is required but tours can be booked just a few days in advance. Minimum booking 2 people.
In the evenings, dinners are served according to the season, in the panelled dining room in front of the fireplace or under the palm trees on the terrace beside the pond. The fresh produce from the vegetable garden and surrounding markets are the basis of Hélène’s cooking. Savour the fine gastronomic specialities of our region: foie gras mi-cuit au Saussignac, cassoulet aux fèves, civet de canette au vin de Pécharmant, magret mariné à l’Armagnac sauce miel et échalottes…and many more enchanting dishes. Helene serves only home grown and local produce complementing her emphasis on the regional world famous cuisine. Specialities include: Foie gras et figues au Saussignac, Cassoulet aux feves au confit de canard maison, Pot-au-feu de poularde fermiere aux truffes du Perigord pourpre, Magret marine a l'Armagnac sauce miel et echalotes... All dinners includes 5 courses (depending upon the season), an aperitif, 1 bottle of red Saint-Emilion wine (for 2 persons), digestif and coffee served in the salon. Of course we will accommodate guests with special dietry requirements but we do ask for advance notice.
